Is my data safe?▾
Yes. Your data lives in encrypted databases on Neon (Postgres) with TLS in transit. We never see, store, or touch your clients’ payments — those go directly to your UPI/bank/PayPal. Read our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Do I need to be GST-registered to use invoicely?▾
No. invoicely works whether you’re GST-registered or not. If you have a GSTIN, we add it to invoices and apply the correct CGST/SGST or IGST automatically. If you don’t, your invoices simply omit GST — useful for freelancers under the ₹20L threshold.
Will my clients see ‘invoicely’ on the invoice?▾
Free plan invoices have a small ‘Generated with invoicely’ footer. Upgrade to Pro and the footer disappears. The rest of the invoice — your business name, logo, signature — is always 100% yours.
How are reminders different from other tools?▾

What payment methods can I add?▾
UPI (with auto-generated QR codes), bank transfer (with IFSC validation), PayPal, Wise, custom payment links (your own Razorpay/Stripe), or free-form custom text. Add as many as you want; pick which ones show on each invoice.
Can I send invoices in USD or other currencies?▾
Yes. When billing a client outside India, pick from INR / USD / EUR / GBP / AED / SGD / AUD / CAD. Foreign-currency invoices are correctly treated as zero-rated export of services.
Do you handle TDS?▾
Yes. When a client deducts TDS (typically 10% under Section 194J for professional services), enter the rate on the invoice — net payable updates automatically and the invoice clearly shows what was deducted.
What about recurring invoices for retainers?▾
Set it up once: client, items, frequency (monthly or quarterly), day of month. Each cycle the system auto-creates the invoice, emails it to your client with a PDF, and starts the reminder sequence. You can pause anytime.
